Finding your academic advisor information

Your advisor may be a faculty member or an advisor in an Advising Center or satellite campus.

There are two ways to locate your advisor's name and information.

  • 点击INSPIRE 
  • Under CONNECT, click on Contact My Advisors. 
  • 在目录中, you will find advisor's name, 联系信息, and a link to schedule an appointment (if available)

  • Click on 学生 Self-Service > 学生的计划 
  • Click on Plan and Schedule

  • Advisor's name and email will be in upper left corner 

Meeting with your advisor

• It is to your advantage to see your advisor before you register for classes so that you can be sure you’re on target to meet your goals.
• To get an advising appointment that meets your schedule, plan ahead and schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor.
• Prepare for your advising appointment by reviewing the requirements for your major. 也, you should create a schedule, 包括学校, 工作, 和家人, so that you and your advisor can plan the best schedule for you.

New students enrolling with 18 credit hours or less will be advised by a Right Start Advisor for their first semester classes. With the start of semester classes, students will begin meeting with their assigned advisor for assistance with registration.
